Grading:
Your grade will be determined by quizzes, three exams, and a cumulative final exam.
The weights of each of these are as follows:

TI-84 plus graphics calculators; other acceptable
calculators: TI-82, 83 plus, 85, 86. Calculators with symbolic manipulation capabilities are NOT acceptable.
Homework & Quizzes:
Practicing is essential to the success of learning mathematics.
Therefore each and every question listed in the suggested homework
must be finished.
Homework is not be collected. However, there will be
weekly quizzes, each of which consists of several (randomly chosen)
homework problems taken from the list of assigned homework problems.
The quizzes will be given in Lab, each lasting about 15 minutes. Each quiz will cover materials taught in the
previous week. The lowest score of the quizzes will be dropped, and the
average of the remaining will count toward the final grade.
