1. There is a required diagnostic quiz to be taken in BLOC 127 (a computer lab). The lab is open:

2. The due date is Thursday, Sept 16.

3. Allow for about 45 minutes to register and take the quiz.

4. Things to bring

• Your Math 131 Section number.
• Your ID.
• You must also know your Net ID which is your official TAMU e-mail address (usually first initial-lastname@tamu.edu). You can check with the help workers in the green shirts in the main BLOC computer lab across from the elevators on the first floor of the Blocker building if you do not know (or have not activated) your TAMU e-mail.
• You may bring a NON-GRAPHING calculator if you want.

5. The diagnostic quiz will count as a normal quiz (10 points). Remember, this is the only quiz that will be graded by completion. You should take this quiz seriously.
